For 1998 I took a year off from derbying due to lack of a suitable car. Actually, I have an 1980 Cutlass Supreme 4-door, but its frame is rusty, its V6 is tired, and the power steering is blown.

Added to that, I had the Ontario Provincial Finals slo-pitch softball tournament that weekend in Kirkland Lake. So I decided to take a year off.
